They discovered the victims floating within the water. Some had eyeballs stuffed with air bubbles, and others had their stomachs pushed up into their mouths. Many had extreme inside bleeding.
Volcanoes could be life-threatening for fish. A significant eruption in 2011 in Chile, as an example, killed 4.5 million of them.
