Even after a record-breaking winter within the Jackson space of Wyoming, the Higher Snake River beneath Jackson Lake is dealing with huge cuts to its flows this spring. In line with an article from Fly Fisherman Journal, due to the immense runoff water already captured by reservoirs on the Snake River, Bureau of Reclamation officers wish to scale back the flows beneath Jackson Lake to retain as a lot water inside Jackson Lake as attainable, saving any water from spilling over dams downstream.

The Bureau has proposed flows at 50 cubic ft per second, which is 230cfs decrease than Wyoming Recreation & Fish has decided is the minimal move required to take care of a fishery beneath Jackson Lake.
