As a part of an ongoing effort to guard the genetic integrity of the native Yellowstone cutthroat trout within the South Fork Snake River and scale back their hybridization with non-native rainbow trout, fisheries biologists from Idaho Fish and Sport can be manually eradicating rainbow and hybrid trout over the subsequent few weeks.
Trout eliminated throughout this effort can be relocated to close by fishing waters for anglers to take pleasure in.
