Almost a decade after the final Elwha River dam got here down, the Decrease Elwha Klallam Tribe may see its first fishery on the river in years.

The tribe, Olympic Nationwide Park, and the Washington Division of Fish and Wildlife introduced Monday that the tribal ceremonial and subsistence fishery for coho salmon on the Elwha will open this fall.
